Oppo has a plan to end its global patent fight with Nokia

Oppo and Nokia have been in a 5G patent dispute for over two years. One consequence of the disagreement was Oppo being blocked from selling its devices in Europe. Now, Oppo has urged Nokia to follow the global 5G royalty rates set by a Chinese local court and put an end to their patent-fee feud.
The dispute between the two companies over global licensing fees was taken to the Chongqing First Intermediate People’s Court. The court recently ruled in favor of Oppo, setting lower royalty rates for Nokia’s standard essential patents for 2G to 5G technologies.

The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) recently sought interest from companies to develop anti-drone technology. Now, a report by The Hindu has revealed that DRDO has asked BELL, Larsen and Toubro, and Adani Group to develop the tech. In its expression of interest, DRDO detailed how anti-drone technology works and why it is needed.

Apple iPhone 15 Series Will Be Manufactured By Tata Group In India

Homegrown conglomerate Tata Group could become the fourth assembler for Apple iPhone 15 series in India. The other assemblers of the iPhone 15 lineup will be the biggest Apple contract manufacturer Foxconn along with Luxshare and Pegatron while the fourth manufacturer will be Tata Group, the first local Indian manufacturer, according to market research firm TrendForce.
