Jakarta: Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (Menpora RI) Dito Ariotedjo attended the Press Conference for the Launching of the Indonesia Future Network in the Lobby of the Bina Graha Building, Presidential Staff Office, Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Friday (22/3) afternoon.

Indonesia Future Network is an exclusive forum organized by the Presidential Chief of Staff (KSP) together with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Health and Bappenas in order to discuss strategic issues both present and future. And this will be scheduled once a month.

On this occasion, Menpora Dito said that Golden Indonesia 2045 was a big momentum that had to be prepared together.

“One thing we can do is open up as wide a space for collaboration as possible, especially for prospective young leaders in various fields,” he said.

For the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Indonesia Future Network will be a cross-sector and generational forum that can help create a legacy from the era of President Jokowi and continue towards a Golden Indonesia 2045.

“So in essence, the Ministry of Youth and Sports will be ready to support anyone from various sectors, from civil society, academics, professionals, company leaders who want to prepare young people to be directly involved in designing our government’s future policies. And it’s time for young people to play a role in realizing Indonesia Gold 2045,” he said.

Previously, the Indonesian Chief of Presidential Staff (KSP) Moeldoko said that the Indonesia Future Network was an exclusive forum jointly organized by the Indonesian KSP to discuss strategic issues both present and future.

“The strategic issues are future industry, future skills, future technology, future energy, future food, future health and future public policy. These issues will be our challenges in the future,” he said.

“For this reason, we want the potential strengths of young people who are currently scattered to be able to collaborate so that their ideas will become ones that can continue the legacy that President Joko Widodo has built,” he explained. (rep)
